After lots of care and patience, our Gardening Club’s luffa gourds have been washed, sliced, and packaged, and will be available at home time in the KS1 shelter for families to take.
Grown from seed in our school polytunnel, these natural sponges are a simple, plastic-free alternative for everyday use. It’s been a fantastic project for the children, watching something grown from seed transform into a useful everyday item. Please help yourself to an eco-sponge - we hope you enjoy using them at home.
Our young gardeners will be growing luffa gourds again this year, fingers crossed for a bumper harvest, so we’ll have even more to share next year!
