As a finale to our work on watercolours and Paul Klee, Year 1 looked at another work called Senecio which was a portrait of an old man.
We looked at the stylised way Paul Klee had used shapes and then sketched our own faces.
We talked about how colours can be used for feelings as well as hot and cold. We choose the kind of feeling we wanted to give off and painted our faces.
