In autumn, the Gardening Club secretly set up a wildlife camera. To coincide with National Hedgehog Day, we’re absolutely over the moon to share that in November a hedgehog moved into one of the hedgehog houses kindly made for us by John from the Trawden Manshed.
Over several nights, the camera captured Hazel the Hedgehog busily gathering leaves and adding them to the barley straw the children had already put inside to help make the perfect preparation for a winter hibernation.
Happy hibernating Hazel!
A massive thank you again to John and the Trawden Shedders, we know they’ll be just as delighted as we are. Moments like this make all the hard work so worthwhile - thank you so much, we have really appreciated your support with this project.
