With the new year well and truly underway, it feels like the perfect time to look back and celebrate our fantastic school garden over the past year.
From sowing seeds and caring for young plants to harvesting crops, cooking together, and creating spaces for pollinators and wildlife, our garden has been full of learning, teamwork, and purpose. Every season brought something new, and every child involved played a part in making our garden such a special place.
Last year also took our school garden beyond the gate, with both regional and national recognition at the RHS Britain in Bloom Awards and our Southport Flower Show Design-a- School Garden success — reflecting the strength of our school garden approach.
A huge thank you goes to our Gardening Club and Garden Gang children, whose enthusiasm, curiosity, and hard work have been at the heart of everything we’ve achieved. We couldn’t be prouder of you all!
