We have had another wonderful week in EYFS, full of exciting learning and hands-on experiences linked to our topic, People Who Help Us.

The children were thrilled to welcome two police officers into school, who talked to us about their important job and how they help to keep us safe. They also brought a police car, which the children loved seeing up close. This visit sparked lots of great discussions and role play throughout the week.

In Maths, the children have been exploring one less, both in adult-led activities and independently in provision. They have been using practical resources, games, and everyday situations to deepen their understanding.

Our learning journey also took us to the polar regions, where the children discovered what these cold places are like and learned about the animals that live there. The children showed lots of curiosity and asked some fantastic questions.

In PE, the children enjoyed another energetic session based on firefighter training. They practised climbing, balancing, and moving safely, developing their strength, coordination, and teamwork skills while having lots of fun.

Well done to all our EYFS children for their enthusiasm and brilliant learning this week. We are very proud of them!
