Over the past few weeks, the children in our School Gardening Club have been working incredibly hard on a very special project.
The lavender growing on our school field was carefully harvested and hung to dry. Once ready, the children removed the flower heads from the stalks and set to work — and their dedication has paid off!
We are delighted to share that they have made an amazing 228 lavender bags for:
- The ladies and gentlemen of Trawden Forest Friendship Group
- The amazing Trawden in Bloom volunteers, who work tirelessly to keep our village looking beautiful
- The incredible volunteers from the community centre, shop and library, who give their time to keep our community connected, supported and thriving
A huge well done to all our young gardeners for their teamwork and enthusiasm in completing this project. The whole school is very proud of you!
