Year 1 have been finding out about mechanisms today and in particular slider mechanisms like bolts, curtain rails and drawers.

We learned how to make a paper slider to make a moving picture.

We created our own Great Fire moving pictures using a slider for the man throwing water.  The children displayed some excellent colouring and cutting skills.
