This week, year 3 had the tricky task of creating their very own obstacle courses!
They started by working in small groups to create small obstacle courses using materials they had on the field, and eventually came together as a whole class to create one giant obstacle course that stretched right across the Forest School field. They had to think carefully and critically about how each group's ideas could be incorporated and how each section could link together effectively to make the obstacle course challenging yet achievable.
Everybody approached the task with determination, enthusiasm and resilience and they demonstrated some fantastic communication and team working skills. We were extremely impressed with how well they managed to complete the task and evaluate their own work, changing parts of the course as they went to make sure everybody was able to complete it.
Their hard work definitely paid off and they all loved being able to complete the course they made.
