Thanks to the generosity of Trawden Man Shed, our school garden and forest school area now have three expertly crafted hedgehog houses. We are so grateful to John, whose hard work and dedication have created these amazing homes for our garden visitors.
Built using plans from the British Hedgehog Preservation Society and wood preserved using a traditional Japanese charring method, these houses are ready to give our garden hedgehogs a helping hand.
Some of the Gardening Club children met John to say a huge thank you for going above and beyond and presented the Man Shed with a card, a box of biscuits, and a small donation. We’re completely blown away by their generosity — thank you so much for supporting our school, we truly appreciate it!
