What a busy and productive two weeks we’ve had over the Easter holidays – and the results are blooming brilliant!
We’re excited to share some of the fantastic developments that have taken place:
The area in front of the polytunnel has been transformed with new paving, turning a once muddy patch into a practical and inviting working space.
Our IBC containers are now in place, and the potting shed guttering has been connected to them – we’re officially harvesting rainwater! A great step towards promoting sustainable gardening practices.
The Bug Hotel has officially opened its doors! A five-star experience for all our creepy-crawly guests – we can’t wait to see who checks in.
We’ve doubled the size of our wildlife and pollinator garden, creating a richer habitat that supports biodiversity and welcomes even more pollinating insects.
Behind the polytunnel, we’ve expanded our growing area, allowing us to cultivate a wider variety of crops, giving our children even more hands-on gardening experiences.
A huge thank you to everyone who has helped our School Gardening Club to make these improvements possible. Our garden is thriving, and we’re so excited for what’s to come!
