We were all very shocked in Y1 to come back after Easter to a very messy classroom! There were leaves and bits of plant all over the place and someone had left some very large, dirty footprints on our clean carpet! On closer investigation, the children found golden eggs scattered around and a bag of strange-looking beans.
Some of the children thought this sounded like the Jack and the Beanstalk story and it must have been a giant who left the footprints.
We wondered if all magic beans would lead to the giants castle or if there were other exciting lands on clouds like Minecraft world, Unicorn land or, best of all, Sweetland!
We decided to plant the magic beans and see if they would grow a giant beanstalk to somewhere exciting.
