Our eager Year 5's dove deep into the fascinating world of materials during Science! Today, we were exploring the essential properties of different substances: transparency, magnetism, solubility, conductivity, and hardness.
Our budding scientists conducted thrilling experiments to observe these characteristics in a variety of materials including salt, a clear ruler, rocks, paper clips and tin foil. The children were mesmerised by dissolving salt and that tin foil could be used as a electrical switch.
