One down, one to go!
This afternoon, the EYFS and KS1 children performed their first showing of this year's nativity, 'Prickly Hay'. They spoke clearly, sang their hearts out and performed their roles with style and aplomb beyond their years. Each and every one of you were stars! Well done! We think it was their best performance so far, however there is more to come this evening at 6pm. We'll be looking forward to having all of the children back in school from 5:30pm to prepare backstage for their final performance. We have hot drinks and mince pies available for a donation for all of you parents and carers in the audience.
We want to say a really big thank you to all of the residents of Ryecroft who have supported the school's PTFA during the Garden Festival, as their fundraising went towards the purchase of our school's new lighting and sound system. If you donated any money or visited Ryecroft in July, we owe you a great big thank you. You are helping our children be the stars they really are.
Well done to all of the staff who have worked tirelessly to put this show together; it takes weeks of preparation and hard work to bring a performance together - team work makes the dream work! Finally, a big thank you to all of our parents for coming to watch and support our children and for helping them to practise and rehearse at home. Your support to our school is invaluable and we really do appreciate you. We look forward to seeing you all tonight at 6pm.
