Year 2 had a wonderful day of learning today. We started off with our art lesson where we created some wax resistant autumn leaves. The children used wax crayon to draw their leaves in detail and then painted over the top with autumnal water colours.
This afternoon the children continued their learning about the continents and oceans in Geography. The were given a cut-up world map and they had to use their atlas to help them piece it back together. They then labelled their map with the continents and oceans, we finished by singing our favourite continents song. Ask your child to sing it to you if they can remember it!
