Our Year 5 and 6 Mental Health Champions began their training with the Pendle Schools Sports Partnership yesterday. Miss Gallagher accompanied Molly (Yr5), Ashleigh and Charlie P (Yr6) to Sacred Heart Community Centre in Colne. The training lasted all day and the group learned lots of different skills to help other children, including: different sports games to help express emotions; how to make healthy lifestyle choices and they planned activity sessions they will share in school. We can’t wait for their first activity.
