Please find below details of the virtual plan for Transition 2021 at Fisher More. This is to replace the two planned Taster Day visits for Year 6 pupils on 24th and 25th June.

Virtual Tour and Quiz: please encourage parents and carers through your social media to take the virtual tour of Fisher More. Each department have created a question for a quiz and this document has been posted on our school website for parents and pupils to complete. The answers are posted throughout the virtual tour.
Parent Information Booklet: An updated version for 2021 is available on our website as a PDF. A selection of images from last year's transition days are also available.
Preparing for Fisher More PowerPoint and Letters from Mr Crabtree and Past Year 7 Pupils: Available on our website for Year 6 class teachers and parents / carers.
Department Taster Lessons – each department will produce a 50-minute taster lesson for Year 6 class teachers and parents / carers to use in class or at home. These will be posted on our website on the morning of the Taster Day Thursday 24th June.
Zoom Sessions: Schools who haven’t already had a physical visit from the pastoral team at Fisher More will be invited to take part in a virtual zoom session with Mr Crabtree and the newly appointed Year 7 Leader over the remainder of the summer term.
Zoom Year 6 Assembly – led by Mr Crabtree on the morning of Thursday 24th June from 9:15 am. A live session with all primary schools to inform pupils of what to expect upon arrival in September. This will also be recorded and uploaded to the school website.
Zoom Information Evening for Parents / Carers: Led by Mr D Swarbrick Deputy Head Teacher (academic) and Mr Crabtree Head of Transition (pastoral) at 5pm on Thursday 24th June.
