Year 6 are starting an exciting enterprise adventure! They have been learning about the World's biomes and how these are being impacted by climate change. The children have shown enthusiasm for making the village a more environmentally-friendly place to live and learn. As a result, they are planning to fundraise for wild flower beds and a community allotment by the Community Shop. Working in partnership with Steven Wilcock- Chairperson, the children will be measuring the plot, drawing up the plans to scale and making beautiful gifts for sale in the shop. The children are creating their own ideas and these will be on posters in the Community Shop very soon with the big launch, being before October half term. As one of our Year 6 pupils (Maisie) said' We want to be part of the solution'. This statement, together with her logo design has been adopted as our brand image.
