We are delighted to introduce this year’s fabulous Garden Team! Our Head Gardener and Deputy Head Gardeners are all Year 6 pupils who have taken on a very special role within our school garden. 

 Their role is about so much more than gardening. They help support our younger gardeners, share their knowledge and experience, work with small groups, and help children learn new skills and discover more about growing.

 When visitors, judges and special guests come to see our garden, they also play an important part in showcasing everything we have created and explaining what makes our garden so special. They also have opportunities to work alongside Trawden in Bloom, including helping to grow for and plant the 'Welcome to Trawden' planter.

 They also lend a hand with our school taste-testing sessions, helping to prepare and share the produce we grow with the whole school.

They are fantastic role models for our younger gardeners and are always ready to get stuck in, lend a hand and share their enthusiasm for growing.

 We are so excited to see what this year’s Garden Team will achieve. We know they will be amazing garden ambassadors, and we are very proud to have them leading the way.

And, of course, Mrs Nelson and Mr Lomax would be extremely lost without them!
