Finding New Adventures at the Library
A group of our Reception children enjoyed another wonderful visit to our village library today, with plenty of time to share stories, explore books and choose a new book each to take back to school.
Before we even reached the library, we spotted the incredible knitted seaside-themed postbox topper outside the community shop. What a lovely surprise! It linked beautifully with our seaside topic back at school and certainly brought lots of smiles to our faces.
Inside the library, the children were delighted to find some pirate books and a treasure hunt story to take back to the classroom to share with our friends during story time and continue our seaside adventures.
A big thank you to Trawden Forest Community Centre, Library and Shop for another warm welcome. We always enjoy our visits and are so grateful to have such a wonderful library at the heart of our community.
