Today was the day we said goodbye to our butterflies and luckily it was a perfect day to do it.
We took them to our lovely garden and let them get used to the sunshine before opening the habitat.
They were obviously very happy in our class because none of them wanted to leave.
After a short while Mrs Alcock lifted each butterfly out on a paper towel and then they spread their wings and fluttered away.
We hope they will be very happy and look forward to hunting for caterpillars next time we do Forest School.
