
This week during Forest School, one of our Year 5 Gardening Gang groups had their very first session in the school growing area — and what a start it was!
The children set to work identifying our carrot plants, unearthing some potatoes, then harvesting, washing, peeling and chopping the vegetables. Together, they cooked a warming carrot soup outdoors, topped off with fresh coriander grown from seed earlier this year.
