Image of A Look Back at Last Week in the Garden!

It’s a wonderfully busy and fun time of year for our Gardening Club — the garden and growing area are absolutely bursting with activity!

We kicked off the week by welcoming some of the lovely Trawden in Bloom volunteers into our school garden. We were proud to hand over the last batch of oxeye daisies and field scabious that we’ve been growing for the village wildflower areas. Trawden is going to look amazing this summer!

Our garlic harvest was a huge success — a bumper crop that’s now curing and will be ready for sale in just a few weeks.

We had fun digging for buried treasure....in the form of potatoes! Unearthing a batch of our early potatoes is always an exciting task, and this week’s harvest did not disappoint!

A big thank you to all our young gardeners for their enthusiasm and teamwork. It's so rewarding to see their hard work pay off - whether it's supporting our local community, growing food, or simply enjoying time outdoors. Every week brings something new, and we can't wait to see what we'll discover next!
