A Trip Back in Time for Year 2!

Today was a very special day in Year 2 — we had a visit from History Man, who brought the past to life with an exciting workshop all about Victorian seaside holidays!

We learned all about why seaside holidays became so popular during the Victorian times and even got to handle some real artefacts from the past — from old-fashioned swimsuits to holiday souvenirs!

To finish our day in true seaside style, we enjoyed a traditional Punch and Judy show in the afternoon — lots of giggles and “That’s the way to do it!” from everyone!

A big thank you to History Man for such a fun and educational day. The children were full of questions and showed amazing enthusiasm throughout.
