On this special day, our year 6 pupils joined local residents at the war memorial to celebrate 80 years since Victory in Europe Day and remember the sacrifices made during the Second World War. Reverend Canon Froud led a heartfelt service, sharing thoughts on the courage and strength shown in tough times. The atmosphere was very moving, especially as we listened to The Last Post being played, a tribute to those we remember.
