Year 4's Holiday Adventure: Off to Sicily!

Today, Year 4 embarked on a fabulous journey as they kicked off their new English unit, Holiday Brochures!  Rather than just learning about holiday brochures, we thought, "Why not go on holiday too?" And so, we set off on an imaginative trip to Sicily!

Our adventure began in the school hall, where the children made their very own passports, complete with photos! Next, they collected their boarding passes and navigated a rather loooooong queue for security, where our fantastic security guards checked for any hidden items with their metal detectors!

After a quick stop at the check-in desk to find out their allocated seats, the children boarded their "flight" to Sicily. While on board, they listened to the safety demonstration and learned about the exits—safety first, after all!

As they soared over the beautiful landscapes of Sicily, they absorbed all the sights and stories, ready to start writing their spectacular holiday brochures tomorrow!
