Today, our fantastic Year 4 students took part on a captivating writing adventure! Inspired by the tale of The Pied Piper and the historical context of The Great Plague of 1665, they crafted their own incredible stories.
What’s even more impressive? All of this writing was done independently! They made sure to incorporate the features we’ve been focusing on, such as fronted adverbials and engaging speech.
After completing their tales, Year 4 took a trip down to Year 2, where they shared their stories with eager listeners. The excitement was palpable as Year 2 thoroughly enjoyed each story. Year 4 couldn’t contain their joy and one child exclaimed, "It was really fun and enjoyable. We want to do it again with another class!"
