Just before half term, Y6 celebrated the end of SATs in style with our residential trip to Winmarleigh Hall - near Preston. We had three action packed days of high adrenaline adventures and the weather was kind to us too!!!
The trip involved lots of activities to keep the children extremely busy and on their toes: the trapeze - a very high pole that they had to climb and jump off was very daunting, but great fun; the climbing wall set hearts racing; the giant swing was definitely responsible for some butterflies in the tummy; raft building meant everyone got extremely wet (including Mrs Clarke and Mr Lloyd); and the problem solving and orienteering developed superb team work skills.
The children were all incredible and had a wonderful time - making memories to last a lifetime!
