In Design Technology today, Year 3 have investigated different kite designs and made an initial attempt of what they thought might be how a kite is made. They will discuss these and use their initial ideas when planning and designing their own kites. During the afternoon, the children came up with their own design brief and decided that, most importantly, their kite needs to be:
- sturdy
- light
- be able to fly and
- waterproof
