Calling all history buffs and time-travel enthusiasts! Year 4 had the honour of hosting a special visitor - the one and only History Man, Adrian Warrell, who whisked them away on an enchanting journey back to the fascinating era of Anglo-Saxon Britain!
Our young adventurers were captivated by History Man's tales of how people lived during this medieval period. From the art of writing in Latin using quill and ink to grinding grain into flour, they immersed themselves in the everyday experiences of Anglo-Saxon life.
But it didn't stop there! Year 4 had the chance to embrace the past fully by playing traditional Anglo-Saxon games, dressing up in authentic costumes, and even creating their own wattle walls, just like true Anglo-Saxon craftsmen!
