This afternoon Year 1 have been drawing spirals in our art topic. We drew big ones on coloured paper with sketching pencils standing in the classroom, we drew bigger ones on white paper with crayons kneeling in the hall and we drew giant ones using chalk in the playground.
We felt how first our fingers, then our hand, then our arm and finally how our whole body moved as the spiral got bigger and bigger.
