Science Day!

Last week, Year Two had a science day where we learnt all about different scientists and inventors and took part in lots of experiments! We used glitter to see how far germs spread and looked at Louis Pasteur's life and work. We became botanists and discussed why Jane Colden's work was so important and finally we looked at Charles Macintosh and how his invention of waterproof material still helps us today.
