Children in Year 6 wrote formal letters to the Prime Minister and Sir David Attenborough appealing to them to save the Amazon Rainforest from deforestation. The persuasive letters, which they wrote and posted in the village last Friday, promoted a response and some of the children have already received letters back. We cannot underestimate our young people and the difference they want to make not only to the local community but the wider world : PROUD TEACHER MOMENT :)
